St Egwin then built the Evesham Abbey, the 3rd great monastery of England. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Henry VIII had it destroyed in the 1600&#8217;s. The surrounding neighborhoods used the stones from the ruins for other building projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, the Evesham Trust is working to revive this forgotten
