There are links below on ways to support them<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:61px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:28px\"><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.catholicworldreport.com\/2023\/05\/29\/why-was-joan-of-arc-mark-twains-favorite-among-all-his-many-books\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.catholicworldreport.com\/2023\/05\/29\/why-was-joan-of-arc-mark-twains-favorite-among-all-his-many-books\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Here&#8217;s an amazing reality &#8211; Mark Twain wrote a book about Joan of Arc and felt it was his greatest work! <\/strong><\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"font-size:28px\"><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.catholicworldreport.com\/2023\/05\/29\/why-was-joan-of-arc-mark-twains-favorite-among-all-his-many-books\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.catholicworldreport.com\/2023\/05\/29\/why-was-joan-of-arc-mark-twains-favorite-among-all-his-many-books\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><strong>Here&#8217;s a quote from him (from the Catholic World Report)<\/strong><\/a><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong><em>Mark Twain was still alive when the Church beatified Joan of Arc in 1909. To a certain extent, his novel remains a puzzling act of devotion from a complicated man. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong><em>For the great American author, there was no one like St. Joan. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong><em>He marveled at her confidence in God\u2019s Will, her courage, her simplicity. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong><em>And in her he saw an example for all time. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong><em>We can hear Twain\u2019s own voice in the words of his narrator describing Joan: <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong><em>\u201cIt took six thousand years to produce her; her like will not be seen in the earth again in fifty thousand.
