I became more sensitive to the real nature of her presence and I\u2019ve continued to find her as I go on my overseas travels<\/strong>.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Here is the continuation of the story:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>\u201cNathan Roberts, the engineer who developed the \u201cLockport flight of 5\u201d considered this the most important work of his professional career. He designed and developed two sets of five back to back locks that conquered the final challenge for the completion of the Erie Canal in 1826.<\/strong><br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">&#8220;A big part of America&#8217;s history almost never got built.
