417- “The Constant Procession”- Part 9

This ninth installment reveals my discovery of the Virgin Mary’s frequent apparitions and miracles during the times of social confusion and intolerance in Paris and France.

It was dark days in Paris and one of the times the French needed help during anti-religious violence.

It comes during her visit to Catherine Labouré and the arrival of the “Miraculous Medal.”

Pope John Paul II said that the Madonna’s message there revealed that “Divisions are repairable.”

The next chapter about religious help for France is The Madonna’s arrival with the LaSalette apparition and seers Mélanie Calvat and Maximin Giraud.

Those were just two times when he Madonna traveled through all the mistrust and pain in France.

A 14^th century monk, Gregory Palamas observed about the Madonna that “While on earth, she harkened and obeyed heavenly things rather than things earthly.”

Also, in the words of an Orthodox Archbishop John Maximovitch who lived from 1896-1966: “The end of the earthly life of the Virgin Mary was the beginning of her greatness.”
