522- The Constant Procession- Part 12

This twelfth installment is from my book “The Constant Procession.” I dig deep into ways some of the approved apparitions of the Virgin Mary have influenced history.

By the end of WWI, among those who died on the battlefields were the best and brightest of that generation. This suddenly created a vacuum of natural leaders across the world.

The toll and mourning for those young men held a seldom remembered additional burden beyond family tragedy. For the world at large their deaths created a vacuum of natural leaders across all countries.

Nihilism filled that leadership void. The weaker replacements ushered in the attitude that “anything goes” and the “Roaring Twenties” followed only to lead to the “Great Depression.”

The Great Depression quickly lead to WWII.

The world at war once began to repeat the seemingly endless cycle …

But then, a Marian apparition from long ago broke the spiral. Bringing defiance to the deadly conflict through a phenomenon known as “Our Lady of the Great Return.”

The Madonna brought hope as a simple church march turned into an ‘endless procession’ as the Virgin Mary traveled across France during that terrible war.
