In the early 1500’s in Scotland the Roman Catholic Bishop of Aberdeen was praying in a chapel that housed a miraculous statue of the Virgin Mary. Today this statue is known as Our Lady of Good Success.
The Bishop heard the voice of the Virgin Mary. She informed him that he would be the last Roman Catholic Bishop in Scotland.
The great calamity of the Reformation during those times brought about terrible suffering by all the people during the turmoil of those times which included the renunciation of religion by many.
There is an irony that those troubled times of great upset coincides with the start of troubled times that began last year at the beginning of the spread of the Corona virus.
The irony to me is that the timing of last year’s re-consecration of Britain to the Virgin Mary occurred just as the Corona Lockdowns began…
An apparition of the Virgin Mary to Gavin Dunbar of Scotland in the 1500’s and the travels of its’ miraculous statue come from the times around the reformation in the British Isles.
