Going without through Lent is overshadowed by the war in Ukraine. It makes me more aware of how fragile life can be.
Humanity needs to do a better job in our contemporary world.
And that’s why this Lenten pause allows us a time to reflect.
My thoughts and prayers are for the Ukrainian people and their defense efforts.
