St. Winebald’s story is the final of the 6 saints from an English family who lived in the 700’s.
He was the son of St Wuna and St Richard of Wessex.
And the nephew of St Boniface.
He was also the older brother to St. Willibald and sister St Valpurga.

He studied to become a monk while in Rome and returned to
England to recruit others to take to Rome in order for them
to also dedicate their lives to God.
But he eventually found himself in Germania and
also became a priest in order to help his uncle
St. Boniface, brother St Willibald and
sister St Valpurga with their missions there.
