39- Ch 24; Hot and Cold

This installment goes into the challenges for determining the make-up of new governments for the vanquished countries after World War 2. The tensions between the victors took divergent courses.

The inevitable solutions when humanity becomes confrontational over disagreements is typically solved by war, where one side wins the other looses.

But the nuclear age got in the way of this scenario and the advent of mutually assured destruction forced new ways to battle.

From Germany to Viet Nam…the great divide faced off in new different ways.

And the cynicism that followed WWI turned to fatalism following WWII.

As for the Virgin Mary? She was there also.

 

The Constant Procession is a book, a personal memoir about the history of the Virgin Mary or the Madonna since she passed on.

There will be approximately forty contiguous installments that run around 7 minutes in length each. They will be published every Tuesday morning beginning in August 2016 and read by me, Nikos Steves.
