A wonderful apparition seen by six young seers who could see what their elders couldn’t! The surprised adults chose faith over skepticism and quickly offered prayers and songs of belief in the children’s testimony. The people credited a miraculous intercession by The Virgin Mary for saving their village from an impending attack.

This final part about Key West’s Roman Catholic Basilica- St. Mary Star of the Sea’s grotto to honor the apparition of the Madonna at Lourdes, France continues. For 100 years her intercessions to God for the island against hurricane’s have worked. Also some history about the nun, Sister Louis Gabriel who’s vision and pledge made these requests possible.

This term “staying the course” takes on a new meaning as I navigate the self-publishing road. The latest goal has been completed! The copyright application has been filed. The reward for completing this can’t be underscored enough for me.
For those of you who haven’t heard, my new book is scheduled to be released next month. It’s about Randy Sparks, a fun-loving Village of Canalville employee who is always in trouble for telling it like it is and the pushback he faces from the mayor who is hiding a secret.
And when these ingredients are combined with the village’s pending bankruptcy, it creates a volatile chemistry and sparks fly!

The appearance of the Virgin Mary to Juan Diego occurred at the Our Lady of Guadalupe apparition site in Mexico City in the year 1531.
I visited this spiritual site and the planning that went into the trip was somewhat elaborate. I had to tweak travel plans for an upcoming trip to the west coast from my east coast location.
My idea was to detour to this apparition site while flying out west, and doing so without an overnight layover. So through tons of planning, the logistics fell into place to make the trip happen. It would be a short visit between flights and in retrospect it certainly was a miracle of planning.

What a difference a year has made since the summer of 2021 as I traveled to the same New York state lake country areas a thousand miles from my Atlanta home this past summer 2022.
What I found along the highways of this wonderful country was with just a few exceptions that the masks were off and my concerns for covid fell as well.

I had the rare privilege of attending the 100th anniversary with a 1/2 million of my closest friends while touring with Michael O’Neill, the Miracle Hunter and EWTN radio and tv host.
At that 100 year anniversary, Pope Francis proclaimed the youngest two seers, Francisco and Jacinta Marto as Saints.

Last week was all about the business of selling the book. First off, you may have noticed a new background look specific to these website pages and posts.
There will be more pages coming soon, plus I value your feedback for other things you’d like to see on the website.
Good news! I’ve just approved the new book cover! When I receive the finished graphic, you can be sure I will share it with you on the website!
Not being a graphic artist, I chose to “hire it done” by someone who specializes in creating book covers for the book industry.
While the November book release will be the e-book only version and just feature the front cover, never the less, most all of the successful author’s I’ve seen as well as well as my publishing consultants had advised using a professional cover artist and I’m excited by the final design.
I’ve done lots of research to find the right email client to improve the sign up and subscribing experience on the website.
There are so many email apps out there and each feature all sorts of advanced tools, it’s the old story, one email app felt too basic and another too complex and so right now I’m serious thinking about going with MailChimp.
Either way, it will be in place next week. Please come and sign up!

The Constant Procession, tells of key apparitions of the Virgin Mary since she passed on from the world and how she serves humanity through Christianity.

Part 16 of my first book, “The Constant Procession.” Tourism industry travelogues typically feature romantic locations, historic sites as well as get-away destinations. When considering where to go in the world of travel, Medjugorje, a village located in Bosnia and Herzegovina typically does not come to mind.

The fifteenth installment from my book, The Constant Procession. It’s the early 1980’s and the Madonna apperates at Medjugorje in Yugoslavia, (modern day Bosnia and Herzegovina.)
The Virgin Mary offers words of clarity on how a person can ‘return to God’ and enjoy the ‘fullness of life.’
Meanwhile a Pope and a President find renewed clarity of purpose as they recover from the attempts on their lives.

I am often asked; “What did the Virgin Mary say?” In this 15th episode covering Chapter 26 we find her actual words as testified to by the six teenage seers.
Starting with the first of her contacts with the young teenagers in Medjugorje she told them very specific things that were on her mind. Firstly the apparition identified herself as the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Queen of Peace.
She told the visionaries that she had an urgent message for humanity to return to God.
She said to the seers: “I have come to tell the world that God exists. He is fullness of life, and to enjoy the fullness and obtain peace, you must return to God.”
During the apparitions, the visionaries did not react to light or sound; they did not react to being touched. They felt they were outside of time and space.
Our Lady presented herself as a servant messenger from God. The visionaries told of what the Madonna said to them.
PEACE – Already on the third day, Our Lady stressed peace as the first part of her messages: “Peace, peace, peace and only peace!” after which she said twice, “Peace must reign between God and man and between people.”
FAITH her second message and she repeated this message many times. Without faith we cannot arrive at peace!
PURIFY or cleanse the heart, because a corrupt or ‘deteriorated’ heart is the basis of bad relations, which in turn brings social disorder, even unjust laws. Without a radical change of heart, without the conversion of the heart, there is no peace.
PRAYER, to pray every day, she requests everyone to “pray without ceasing” just as Christ himself taught. Pray, Give Him thanks for His gifts to us. Prayer aids us in our “ordered relationship with God.” Without which it is impossible to maintain peace either with God or with our neighbor.
FASTING – Already on the sixth day of the apparitions, The Madonna often recommended fasting because it helps faith. That is, the practice of fasting aids and ensures control over oneself. “Only the person who can dominate them-self is truly free.”
These first messages she brought did not convey new teachings, but reinforced the Gospels and teachings of the traditional Churches. These messages began to appear around the world reaching millions of people.
Also found in this episode is Chapter 27 entitled “The Pointy Edge of the Sword.” This military term used by the Marine’s accurately portrays the curious surroundings and circumstances that are frequently overlooked when this apparition at Medjugorje come to mind.
The location in the early 1980’s took place at a similarly remote location in the world as found with earlier apparitions. And during the early 80’s the area was experiencing excitement in preparing for the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo.
It was a time of great pride for the Communist country of Yugoslavia.
The Madonna first appeared there in those heady times. Her efforts were in part to warn of unspeakable changes that could occur in this region of the world without a return to God.

The Constant Procession- Book 1, Part 14. Time Mag reported ‘God is Dead.’ With riots across the USA, the ‘6-Day War’ in the Middle East. Then the Virgin Mary appeared in Egypt, a welcomed symbol of Peace.
And then there’s today, A deadly fire during a Sunday church service at an Orthodox Church in Egypt during the month of the Assumption of Mary and also the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine in 2022. There are links to these stories below plus ways to support the people of Ukraine.
The thirteenth installment from my book, The Constant Procession.
In Chapter 22 entitled “Unheeded Prayers” the remaining Fatima Seer; Sister Lucia, brings forward to the Pope requests made to her by the Virgin Mary during the apparition she experienced in Portugal in 1917.
Recalling what the Madonna told Sister Lucia: “If you pay heed to my requests, Russia will be converted and there will be peace. If not, Russia will spread her errors through the world, causing wars and persecutions against the Church. Many will suffer martyrdom, and the Holy Father will have much to suffer, and several nations will disappear.”
Chapter 23, A Society Without God reflects on the environment in the sphere of Soviet influence for people living in a world without social liberty and when Bibles were banished. The experience of a 7th day Adventist reveals the level of suppression people of faith had to endure in those times.
Chapter 24– Hot Pursuit in a Cold War brings out how with increasing confidence, the Communists took religion down. And with huge armies still deployed in Europe and the newly aquired power of atomic weapons, the victors squared off using new battle techniques.
The “Great Return” found fierce resistance in France as the communists gained control of the political machine. In Hungary however, the procession yielded fruit, until it too was run aground.
The twelfth installment from my book, The Constant Procession. World War I delivered death as many gave their lives in Christ like fashion. These brave souls fought to protect their families and the world from the aggressive territorial confrontations fostered by the attitude that “might makes right.”
The resulting post war societal loss of the best and brightest, created a multifaceted vacuum.
Fatalism overtook faith and the Roaring Twenties attitude of “anything goes” became the way of the world.
The remaining Fatima seer, Sister Lucia pleads for one of the Fatima apparition’s main requests. That the world re-consecrates itself to love one another and be in constant prayer.
Chapter 21 follows by delving into the history of the “Great Return.” Which includes the backstory from the year 636 during an apparition of the Virgin Mary known as Our Lady of Boulogne.
